JANGID BRAHMAN EDUCATIONIST SOCIETY GENERAL BODY All the members of the society put together shall form the general body of the society. MAIN FOUNDER MEMBERS Main founder members shall be the life members of the society. HONORARY MEMBERS Governing body can also nominate any person who can do / has done valuable service to the society as honorary member for a definite period. GOVERNING BODY The governing body will be formed by the President of the society in manner indicated in the rules and regulations. A) The member of the governing body will be 18 for a period of two years. It shall comprise: -
B) The strength of main founder members shall be 5. C) Main founder members and elected members of the society hold any post of profit under the society. PERIOD OF GOVERNING BODY Period of governing body shall be two years. OFFICE BEARERS AND THEIR FUNCTIONS The governing body shall consist of 18 members including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, Member-publicity and Executive Members will constitute the office bearers of the society. The functions of the office bearers are given below:- i) President & his powers: (a) The president will preside over the general body as well as the governing body meeting of the society. He shall also conduct and control the functions of the meeting according to the constitution, rules and regulations of the society. He may also call the meeting of the governing body and general body when requested by 9 and 20 Members of these bodies respectively. The election of the president shall be carried out by the members of the society after expiry of 2 years. ii) Vice - President The Vice President will assist President and President can assign few functions to vice president to fulfil the objectives of the society. The vice president will perform all functions of the President in his absence. iii) Secretary The Secretary will be responsible for calling the meetings, organizing and coordinating the meetings of the general body as well as governing body. He will also surprise and control the general activities and shall be reporting to President regularly for all the activities of the society. iv) Joint Secretary The Joint Secretary will assist President and Secretary and will perform all functions of the secretary in his absence. v) Treasurer The Treasurer shall look after the financial documents, maintain accounts and control the income and expenditure of the society. He will also make the budget in consultation with President, V.P. & Secretary and present the accounts and budget in the general body meeting as approved by the governing body. vi) Member - Publicity There shall be 3 members of publicity. There responsibilities are enhancing the membership of the society through publicity to achieve objectives- They will coordinate all the members for all meeting, give publicity of the society and generate a cordial environment to bring the members on one place. vii) Executive Members Executive members shall form the part of office bearers and may be assigned any task / any function by the President and the Secretary. POWERS OF GOVERNING BODY The governing body shall exercise all powers relating to management, efficiency, improvement, general welfare and financial transactions, movable and, immovable property of all the institutions run by the society. The governing body shall also exercise their powers for the aims and objectives of the society having the positive and constructive approach with the best understanding. Governing Body shall also nominate election officer after expiry of the 2 years term of the governing body. Governing Body shall open branches of the society anywhere India and abroad. ALLOCATION OF DUTIES Apart from the function assigned above to various office bearers, the other function and activities may be allocated by the President and governing body from time to time.
