Pt. Kundan Mal Sharma (Classical Vocalist)
He was born at village Khachariawas (Sikar,
Raj.) on 5th Oct. 1955. His father late Sh. Bhanwar Lal Jangid was much
interested in spiritual studies and satsang of ancient nature which affected him
to learn music. At the same time he was much interested
to listen classical programmes on radio. He studied up to VIIIth standard
at Khachariawas.
Later he joined Indian Air Force after
completion of Higher Secondary with Science Maths subjects.During training period in IAF for 2
years he keenly listened various classical artistians on radio and enlargened
his musical vocublary towards practical performances. After training , during
his first posting to Allahabad, he started learning Indian Classical music which
continued with various Gurus along with posting to different cities of
India.

Kondinya Sangeet Maha
Vidyalaya institute was established in 1998 by Pt. Kundan Mal Sharma.
The institute is affiliated to Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad and Pracheen
Kala Kendra, Chandigarh for conduct of the examination upto Sangeet Visharad,
Sangeet Praveen and Sangeet Nipun equivalent to M.A. (Music) well recognised by
Central Govt od India and State Govt. Sangeet Praveen/ Nipun exams has been
conducting since 1999 and Sangeet Visharad exams for since year 2000.

He is organising monthly calssical programme
under the banner of Kondinya Sangeet Maha Vidyalaya Masik Sangeet Sabha as per
the costume of Guru Shisya Parampara and the programme itself is known as
"Parampara". In these programmes he bring forward his 2-3
students to perform on the stage and finally one or two senior guest artists are
invited to perform and deliver lecture on the method of performance.
Annual programme is celebrated as
"Swarotsava" . His first "Swarotsava" programme was held on
3-Jan-2005 at Ravindra Rang Manch, Jaipur in which the presiding was covered by
world famous artists Pt. Rajan Sajan Mishra and the preformer were one of his
disciple Kumari Divya Sharma and Mr. Ritesh- Rajneesh Mishra of Banaras Gharana.
He has invited twice internationally famed classical vocalist and his Gurus Pt.
Rajan- Sajan Mishra of Banaras Gharana to his Kondinya Sangeet Maha Vidyalaya
and paid them due respect with presenting Rajasthani "Safa" on 3 Sep-2003 and
Shawl and Srifal on 4 Jan-2005. Both Pandits appreciated his work done towards
students. The students presented Vocal and Tabla programme.
Samaj is thankful to his man who has famous
himself and uplifted samaj in classical music field.
