JOURNEY FROM AN AIR WARRIOR TO A JUDGE
Mr. Dharampal Sharma was born on 03 March, 1971 at village Gothra Tappa Khori in Rewari District of Haryana in a rural background. Since his schooling days, he had been outstanding at studies. He was school topper in Matriculation examinations. After his pre-engineering, he joined Indian Air Force on 22 March, 1990 as an airman in Logistics branch. His career in the IAF too remained very bright. He was commended thrice for his outstanding contribution to IAF. He was promoted to Junior Warrant Officer on merit based promotion panel (10% outstanding performer’s promotion panel).
Besides, he also handled Air Force Legal Cell for a period of four years at two Air bases. He served the nation as an air warrior for 21years. While in service, he enriched his knowledge and have battery of educational and professional qualification as on date i.e LLM, MBA, MPA, MA, PGMS & DLM. After his voluntary retirement on 31 May, 2011, he started his practice as an Advocate at Delhi High Court and Supreme Court of India. Apart from his sound professional track records, he had been a public spiritual social person. He has been helping the poor through Delhi based NGO (Pravasi Legal Cell). He is the Joint Secretary in the governing body of the NGO, providing free legal aid to poor and indigent person throughout India. While in practice of Lawyer, he appeared & succeeded in HCS (Judicial Branch) exams 2011 in his first attempt and presently in merit list for the post of Civil Judge. Soon he will be designated as Civil Judge.
The success mantra of his successive journey from an air warrior to a Civil Judge has been sustained honesty, sincerity, dedication and hard work. It is a matter of pride for the whole Jangra community and a source of inspiration for the others to emulate.
