In Mumbai a programme of "EK SHAAM CARPENTERON KE NAAM" was organised in which Ex-Minister of UP Shri Ram Asare Vishwakarma was honoured with Shri Vishwakarma Samaj Ratna 2011 for his excellent social service. The programme was organised at Naveen Bhai Thakkar Hall at Ville Parle, Mumbai by joint venture of Carpenters Rights Association and National Vishwakarma Mahasabha Mumbai.
Shri Ram Asare Vishwakarma has demanded from Govt. to immediately stop the import of furniture from foreign countries and told that the existence of artisians and carpenters may demolish by this act. Hundreds of samaj candidates were present in programme.
National Vishwakarma Mahasabha Mumbai, President Sh. Ganga Ram Vishwakarma, Senior Journalist Sh. Hargovind Vishwakarma and Carpenters Rights Association President Sh. Vashisht Narain Vishwakarma were also present. The programme was conducted by Sh. Sant Lal Vishwakarma. Sh. Dinesh Vishwakarma expressed his thanks to all present. Dr. Guru Ram Vishwakarma "Madhukar" from UP has been selected for Gold Medal by American Biographical Institute , U.S.A.

Oath ceremony programme of Jangid Samaj Hastkala Seva Samiti Raj., Jaipur was held at Delhawas Hanuman Temple, Pratap Nagar, Sanganer (Jaipur), Raj. on 15 Dec-2011.
The president of programme was Sh. Nawal Kishor Sharma (Ex-President, Jila Sabha Jaipur). Sh. Rameshwar Prasad Jangid , Sh. Dhanna Lal Jangid & Sh. Brij Mohan Jangid (Ex-President & Patron), Sh. Hanuman Sahai Tilawala, Sh. Jai Narain Jangid , Sh. Ganesh Narain Jangid, Sh. Kanhaiya Lal Jangid etc. were present. In the meeting it was also discussed that samiti should have a plot.
