Jangid Brahmin Shakha Sabha Uttam Nagar (Delhi) has inaugurated Vishwakarma Mandir at C-11/12, Bhagwati Garden Extn., Near Dwarka Mode Metro Station, Uttam Nagar, Delhi on 2-Oct-2009. In the morning Shobha Yatra of Idiols of Lord Vishwakarma and Baba Hanuman was proceeded. The programme was started at 12.30, president of that was Sh. Mohar Singh.
The chief guest of programme was Sh. Mukesh Sharma (MLA, Uttam Nagar), Sh. Rajesh Gehlot (Prashad), Smt. Dhanpati Gehlot (Parshad Kakrola). Other renowned persons from samaj were Sh. There were 9 candidates who filled the nomination for the post of president of Tehsil Sabha Bassi. 5of them were rejected. 2 candidates withdraw their names. At last there were two candidates namely Sh. Rambabu Jangid (Bassi), Sh. Mukesh Jangid (Jhajhwad). For these election date was declared as 8 Nov. 2009.

The programme was started by Yagya with host Sh. Naresh Kumar (Uttam Nagar, Delhi), Sh. Nanak Singh (Krishna Vihar). Hundred of samaj candidates took part. The flag hoisting was done by Sh. Om Prakash Sharma (Raghu Nagar). The stage was communicated by Sh. K.D. Sharma. The Bhajan were presented by Sh. Sukhpal Vishwakarma.
