Sub: Khaties be recognised as Jangid Brahmans and entered as such in Government Records.

Dear Sir,

The Secretary , Jangid Brahman Mahasabha, Delhi has represented that inspite of the fact that the caste "Jangid Brahman" and "Khati" is one and the same, certain revenue authorities have refused to enter "Jangid Brahman" for "Khati" in the column of caste provided in the revenue forms.

I am directed, therefore, to say that no such refusal be made and words "Jangid Brahman" in place of "Khati" be entered in revenue records and corrections be made accordingly wherever such entry exists.
